Dead Men Tell No Costume Secrets - The breakdown art of dead sailors

The amazing breakdown artists that worked on Pirates Of The Caribbean- Dead Men Tell No Tales - Spanish soldiers were a team specially allocated to work on the ghost soldier’s costume breakdown. 
One part of the process of breakdown included a mixture of grey puff paints stippled onto the garments and boots and heat gun treated to allow the paint to puff before adding another layer in a different tone to add depth. Working with the paint on fabric had to be spread out to allow normal movement and discourage stiffness from too much puff paint in one area.
